AIGETOA Agenda Meeting with CMD BSNL

Agenda based meeting of Team AIGETOA with CMD BSNL completed:

The following issues of Pay, Promotion and Pension were submitted to CMD BSNL along with a detailed explanation of the issues:

- Pay (E2 for JTO/JAO Equivalent)
- Payloss (22820, E1+5 increments, JE Period Pay Loss)
- 30 percent SAB and PRMB
- Implementation of 3rd PRC
- Promotions-
(SDE to AGM, LICE (SDE to AGM and JTO to SDE), AO to CAO, AGM to DGM, JTO to SDE, JAO to AO, CSS cadre Promotions, PA, PS, PPS Promotions, and inclusion of Upper Residency CAP across all grades,
- SDE Reversal 2007
- 147 Reversal Issue
- Revision of TA/DA Accomodation allowances
- Injustice meted out to LDCE passed SDEs and their seniority restoration.
- scrapping of MT, SET and DR DGM RRs
- Review of Rule 8 Guidelines to accomodate the request of Rule 8 to surplus Circles
- Review of Transfer Policy and only need based transfer should happen. Those disturbed may be accommodated back to their parent circle
- Intervention for empanelment of leading hospitals on cashless basis
- Provison of Second Saturday to all Field Units
- Training issues arising due to take over of ALTTC by DoT - Introduction of Death Releif Fund
Discussions are positive and CMD BSNL was quite receptive to the submissions made by AIGETOA. It was the first meeting with CMD BSNL on agenda points and we explained the points and why they have not been resolved yet. CMD BSNL told his team to share detailed feedback on the issues raised. A follow up meeting on the agenda will be held again soon. CMD BSNL has assured of positive action on the major agenda points and we are also anticipating a breakthrough soon.
Further CMD BSNL emphasized upon the need for increasing the revenue, specially he expressed his concern on the declining trend of FTTH connections.He sought the support of employees in increasing the revenue. We emphasized that whatever plan which management makes for the betterment of BSNL, employees are supporting wholeheartedly but employees are disheartened because of non resolution of the HR issues pertaining to Pay, Promotion and Pension and hence management must proactively resolve these issues now. we expressed our firm support in achieving the gain in revenue and also increasing the connections. We gave the feedback received from field units on issues faced in 4G roll out and other crucial network issues.
One thing is for sure, our current CMD is very open minded on the pending HR issues and he has shown his clear intent to resolve the HR issues. Thankfully Our Director HR is also very much compassionate about the issues pertaining to employees. We are very sure, with the current management team we have the best chance to clear the long pending issues.
Let us hope for the best. Together We Will do it Definitely.
