Today Shri G Veerabhadra Rao, All India President AIGETOA met Shri N Chandrababu Naidu, the honorable CM AP and requested for his kind help in resolving the long pending issues of BSNL employees. Shri Rao submitted a memorandum to Shri Naidu seeking his kind intervention with Honorable PM and Honorable MoC in directing BSNL and DoT for settling the issues of 3rd PRC, Standard Pay Scales of E2 for JTO/JAO Equivalent, Pay Loss issues, 30 percent SAB, Promotion issues and other issues like revision in Transport Allowance, TA/DA etc. It was highlighted that the case of BSNL employees are more or less similar to the AP Road Transport Corporations employees issues where RTC is state owned Corporation and which used to be in losses due to rural BUS services. Their issues have been resolved without seeing the PROFITABILITY.. The same criteria needs to be adopted for BSNL also.
CM sir assured to look into the issues and told that he will discuss with the MOSC first and after taking the feedback, the same shall be escalated to Honorable PM and Honorable MoC
He also assured to have another meeting after discussing with Honorable MOSC. The proper appointment in this regard shall be given soon.
