Today team AIGETOA KTD visited Shri Parmeshwari Dayal, CGM BW during his visit to Kolkata at Telephone Bhavan. We’ve submitted our earlier letter given to CGM KTD (copy annexed). Our team has discussed the following points:
1. Renovation of Baishnabghata Patuli Quarter complex: We have categorically informed him that, the Parcel-B of this quarter complexes need to be renovated as soon as possible. Our team discussed in detail about the horrifying conditions of these quarter complexes and urgency of its proper renovation. We’ve also discussed, as the budget has already been allocated, only administrative approval from BSNL CO is required at earliest to start for the tendering processes and in turn starting of actual works. CGM BW assured, his team is already on job and expecting a speedy result.
2. Renovation of CTTC Saltlake, Uttarpara & Manicktala Quarters: Our team also discussed over the renovation processes of these staff quarters and informed him that the process has already started at KTD. Budget to renovate these quarters has also been sanctioned by BSNL CO. We requested KTD mgmt to expedite the process and to send the file to BSNL CO for necessary approval. After renovation, these quarters may have great utility as they are located in different corners of KTD area.
The meeting ended with positive expectations and thanks giving.
