Based on the opposition by AIGETOA and its wide coverage in media, the matter of VRS 2.0 has been put on hold by DoT. Instead the issue of VRS 2.0 has been referred to BCG for giving recommendations especially on the issue of non equitable treatment to BSNL Recruits post VRS as there is no clarity on the EPF contribution and Superannuation Fund Contribution post VRS coupled with pending issues of Pay Scales, Pay Loss, Pension and Promotions. As directed, AIGETOA shall be presenting its view formally to BCG also. Till these issues are settled to satisfaction, AIGETOA will never allow VRS 2.0 to take shape and will oppose it all out.
