Today, on 12th February 2025, marks a significant day for JTOs/JAOs recruited after 1st January 2007. During the full hearing of writ petition in the Honorable High Court Delhi, after a patient review, stated that the matter pertains to pay fixation and that the order passed by the PCAT needs to be set aside.
After detailed arguments, the Honorable Judge emphasized that there is need to review the orders of Honorable PCAT and the same must be set aside.
It will be pertinent to mention that this case was lost 3-4 times in Honorable PCAT/CAT by the members and office bearers of one association who claims itself born for the 22820 case . However the team AIGETOA filed a fresh case for extending the 22820 as initial basic. The case was dismissed by PCAT on technical grounds. However, AIGETOA Kept on pursuing the case and filed an appeal at Honorable High Court at New Delhi. The appeal was filed with a renewed flavour where in all the discrepancies/lacunae were removed under the able guidance of GS AIGETOA Shri Ravi Shil Verma, supported by the Shri Vivek and Shri Yogendra. The appeal at High Court was admitted by the Honorable court and placed for arguments on merits. When the case was admitted by Honorable High Court, AIGETOA filed an Intervention petition also.
Its a great thing that Honorable High Court expressed its view that the PCAT order needs to be set aside ( meaning court agrees with our petition). The arguments shall further be continued on next date which shall be notified by registry soon. Our Senior Advocates standing on behalf of applicants have argued the case very well and we sincerely hope and believe that in next few hearings, the positive outcome will come.
