Yesterday Team AIGETOA had three round of meetings with Honorable CMD
BSNL. In the morning, all the three associations were called for a meeting
with CMD BSNL on a short notice. CMD BSNL appreciated the efforts of the
associations in carrying forward the aim of increasing FTTH connections and
celebrating February as FTTH Month. CMD BSNL also sought inputs on
problems associated with field units.
CMD BSNL assured us that as told earlier management shall be
reciprocating the gesture with efforts to resolve the long pending HR issues.
He further assured that in the same Management has decided to
celebrate the April 2025 month as HR Month with focus on resolving
the HR issues. He sought cooperation of executives in increasing the
revenue and told that efforts of employees are visible and some good news
will be there soon.
Today, it is learnt that BSNL for the first time after decade of losses
has registered net profit in any quarter. It is high time that with a little
extra effort we can gain further connections which will ultimately result in
increase of revenue. This will go a long way in resolution of HR issues also.
Thereafter we again met CMD BSNL in the afternoon and evening and had
detailed discussion on the following issues:
Promotions: It was informed that management has given go ahead for
filling up the available vacancies in DGM cadre. For that matter, the
seniority list in AGM cadre shall be issued in a day or two.
In the case of clearing List 11,12,13, discussion took place on way
forward and CMD BSNL directed Pers team to work on the same. Creation
of more promotional posts was also discussed and CMD BSNL directed PGM
Restg to examine and complete the work as early as possible. Association
is in constant touch with Restg Cell for ensuring the increase in promotional
posts.
AO to CAO Promotions, It was informed that Pers Cell has sent back the
file to SEA cell and they are working on the same and promotions shall be
executed expeditiously.
SDE to AGM LICE: Order is likely to be pronounced soon and Management
shall issue the promotions within 2-3 days of receiving the go ahead from
the court..
JTO to SDE Promotions: All efforts shall be taken to get the stay vacated
in next hearing by BSNL.
Laptop Reimbursement to Field Executives: We said that proposal is
still pending despite go ahead. It was informed that the requisite inputs
from the CIT cell is being processed and the policy shall be rolled out soon.
TA/DA Revision: CMD BSNL Directed the Hon’ble Director HR to complete
the process as early as possible.
Medical Reimbursement to the field units on the current DA:
Association emphasised that despite agreement, the proposal has still not
been processed. CMD BSNL assured for the same.
DRF and increase in SAB limit: CMD BSNL told that all efforts shall be
made to increase the contribution next FY on SAB. Mechanism for DRF to
be discussed. Pending issues of E2-E3 and Pay Losses shall also be
examined expeditiously.
At the end CMD BSNL requested all to work together and not to indulge into
unnecessary legal tangles. He said management appreciates the fact
that all executives should get their dues and he will ensure that
without any prejudice, this is done. He once again requested all
executives to work in unison for increase in revenue, the result of which
will help employees also. He further told that with increase in revenue,
he will be stronger in pursuing the case for 3rd PRC for BSNL
Employees.
CMD BSNL requested all executives to remain active on social media
and told the employees must show case BSNL services on social
media and ensure that negativity against the company is not
spread.
