Detailed Discussions:
This morning, the leaders of AIGETOA, SEWA, and SNEA were called by the Honorable CMD for a meeting. The CMD conveyed his best wishes on the occasion of Holi and appealed to everyone to put in special efforts to increase revenue for BSNL in the remaining period of March 2025.
The CMD reiterated his commitment to making April 2025 as HR Month, starting from April 2nd. He requested the General Secretaries of the three associations to have internal discussions and be ready with a uniform stand on all issues. The CMD assured that he is willing to resolve different HR issues and differences among associations, emphasizing that everybody is equal in his eyes.
The CMD made it clear that there may be some issues that need to be resolved through discussions. He was positive about AGM LICE and AO to CAO promotions and assured that his team is working on both the promotions and they will strive to issue the orders at the earliest. AIGETOA requested for immediate issuance of the orders on which positive assurance was given.
CMD BSNL also emphasized upon the need for increasing revenue and sought cooperation from association at all levels. We told that our people are fully committed to the cause of BSNL and are working beyond time in the interest of BSNL.
The General Secretaries of AIGETOA, SEWA and SNEA have already had discussions and reached an understanding on overcoming hurdles in promotions through discussions, and we are confident of a united stand on different pending HR issues, including promotions.
