Today team AIGETOA KTD along with JS(E) and CS WBTC met Honorable Governor of West Bengal His Excellency Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata. The team greeted H.E. with a flower bouquet, a shawl and a book.

After a brief introduction, the team submitted a memorandum containing the long pending HR issues of BSNL executives. After that, a detailed discussion took place over our HR issues which lasted for more than 20 mins.

H.E. was very keen to know about these HR issues and sought further information w.r.t. the HR policies and our pay related matters.

After learning the whole situation, he commented, "...the matter has a serious concern and need to address soon...." H.E. personally assured us, he will write a D.O. to the Honorable Minister of Communication.

After the above discussion, our team requested H.E. to request the Govt. of West Bengal to use BSNL service as per the mandatory utilisation policy of GoI. He instantly directed his ADC to act over this.

The meeting ended with a sense of accomplishment and forward momentum.
